Gained administrative skills while managing team activities, games, and practices for varsity women’s basketball. Traveled with team to multiple away games, packed for travel, and assisted with team preparations and operations.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center – Phoenix, AZ; Greeter; Total Hours: 50

Volunteered at the main administration desk and assisted patients and visitors to their hospital destination using information from EHR. Worked alongside nurses and technicians, as well as hospital administrative staff.

Maggie’s Place – Phoenix, AZ

Maggie’s Place provides housing and support for pregnant women who need it. Whether they seek shelter due to financial struggle, abuse, or disability, women who are pregnant are provided safe and secure homes until their child is 1 year old. They have a structure in place to care for pregnant mothers as well as mothers with new babies, and eventually help women find employment, structure, and safety prior to them moving. Volunteered many weekends helping care for babies, clean, or organize donations made to the shelters.
